 - Beeswax is produced by bees in the form of tiny scales which are "sweated" from the segments on the underside of the abdomen. To stimulate the production of beeswax the bees gorge themselves with honey or sugar syrup and huddle together to raise the temperature of the cluster. To produce one pound of wax requires the bees to consume about ten pounds of honey.

- Burning a beeswax candle is probably the most natural form of air freshener you can get. It produces negative ions that circulate a room attracting and neutralizing pollutants, odours, moulds, bacteria, viruses and toxins.
- Beeswax melts at 64C (147F).
- Beeswax is a renewable natural resource.
- Our beeswax has no additives (although we will include natural dyes upon request). There is very little dripping wax, depending on the shape of the candle, and if placed away from a draft they should burn cleanly without any soot, producing a bright yellow flame.
